I've also been asked where I learned about herb and herbal health, how I learned how to make all of my products, and if I can recommend any schools to check out.
I've taken several and checked out quite a few.
Unfortunately, and for some, fortunately, there are no "requirements" to counsel people in herbal health; no license or degree needed. HOWEVER, I would definitely like to know that anyone giving me medical advice has been trained by at least one reputable institution or academy before I took their recommendations. That's why I strive to forever keep learning. I don't think any herbalist can say they know all there is to know about every herb or plant on this big blue ball, or that there's nothing further to learn.
For that reason, I'm on to my next journey!
The Herbal Academy of New England is offering a new class, beginning Monday, November 25th and I'm inviting YOU to join me! Like I said, I've searched and re-searched on-line schools and this is an awesome class AND an awesome deal! It's the "Online Intermediate Herbal Course (see the link below).
Now, don't let the word "Intermediate" scare you away if this is your first time dealing with herbs or your first herbal course! Basics will be covered in the first unit.
Not ready by Monday? This class isn't going anywhere. Join when you're ready, but I'd love some study buddies!
Check it out and if you do sign up, let me know so I can look for you in the forum!
